STRONGLY ADVICE TO LOOK FOR ALTERNATIVE Investments.
Where to begin? We met Rick in Chilliwack BC via a friend in the summer of 2023; Rick visited us with his son Drew Ford (now working at TidePest Solutions in Alabama) and his then girlfriend Jamie Lund (from Vernon, BC). Rick mentioned he was working with funnels and that an investment of any amount would see returns of 20% of the investment, monthly, for 12 months, essentially generating a 140% return in a year - we wired our funds to Andrew (Drew) Ford, at a bank in California. It did turn out too good to be true.
Shortly after the start of the 'funnel', it collapsed and the money was lost. There are at least 14 individuals I know of that are in the same boat - collectively being ousted about $700k+. These men have no shame, very few updates, always defensive, blaming others and taking no accountability for the facts our contracts are with them, directly.
Rick blamed Shaqir Hussyin (UK) for collapsing the funnels, but there is no proof of that. I spoke with Shaqir a few times, and at best, he is blaming Rick back - there seems to have been a fall out between these two.
Since this happened in 2023, to this day, Rick continues to advertise 'successful funnels' and seeking investors. We know of people who were approached, and invested in funnels with Rick, well AFTER the funnels failed for us. That funnel then, as well, failed after the money was wired...
Our problem: IF the funnels work, there should be plenty money available quickly, to pay us back our invested funds.
But IF the funnels do not work (proof is in the pudding), why do they continue to advertise it?
Stay away from these individuals, everything Rick does is a scam: his Amazon books (fake), his LinkedIn account (fake) and his Crypto Coin (MyBLT) which has been reported a scam since at least 2021, he still thinks highly of it - often referring to himself as a millionaire (mixing up current value and potential future value).
Our understanding of Rick is that he is struggling with mental health/clarity, not clearly understanding what is real and what he thinks in his head. Often it appears he lives in different realities, but in person he can be really convincing, which makes him textbook con artist.
An other example would be this: he mentioned at some point: "I have opportunity to sell a $12mm villa at $15.8mm, and those gains would help pay you back". A little digging, cleared up that not only is the owner of said house, he is not even in the purchasing process, does not even have money to buy it. This is another example of Rick not seeing clearly between reality and a conjured up reality in his mind.
Please - do yourself a favor, and stay away from this.

I met Rick through a friend. Because I trusted my friend, I lowered my guard and trusted Rick. That turned out to be a very costly mistake. I have a sister who suffered a TBI and needs 24/7 care. I was in the process of getting her therapy, which was quite expensive. Rick knew my situation, he knew what I was doing with my money and how much this money meant to me and my sister. He convinced me to invest the money I had for my sister's therapy into his marketing funnel. It was a substantial amount of money and I never saw one cent of it back. I ended up having to get a loan to continue my sister's therapy. Rick gave many excuses and blamed someone else for "stealing" the money. It appears that Rick doesn't really have a marketing funnel that he owns. I later learned that several investors had the same outcome months before Rick took my money. I do believe that Rick Grunden took my money with the full knowledge that he was not going to pay it back.

Two years ago I sent money to Rick with the promise of a monthly payback and have never seen a penny (including the principal). Several of us had sent money at the time and I was the last one to jump on after seeing some of the others get money back. In an uncanny coincidence, "the fund collapsed" within a couple of weeks (after he got my money too).

DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS GUY - he's always talking about himself, how great he is. At first my friend and I believed him, we found his book on Amazon and decided to try it at $0.99 but the book doesn't even exist. It is just empty with no words in it. This man is a scammer, do not deal with him. I actually can't believe Amazon still has this up on their website.
